I’m a male professional (Stanford graduate) in my 20s looking for a new roommate so I can afford to keep living in my nice 2BR/1BA apartment.

The apartment is located in downtown Palo Alto (i.e. near University Ave.) near Everett and Waverley.

I’m looking for someone who can pay $1650 per month. This includes utilities.

About the apartment:

• The free room is unfurnished. It is about 13' by 11' and has a large closet and NE-facing windows.
• There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, and balcony. These are pretty much furnished.
• The apartment is on the top level of the building, up one flight of stairs.
• The location is great: 2 blocks from University, a 9-minute walk to the Palo Alto Caltrain station, a 13-minute walk to Whole Foods or Willows Market (with Trader Joe’s and Safeway a bike ride or short drive away), PAMF and other medical providers in walking distance, a park on the next block over, etc.
• The apartment building has shared coin-op laundry machines.
• Pets are not allowed.
• The lease is month-to-month. You need to be added to the lease, which will involve a credit check.
• Parking is available through the RPP program.

Personal stuff:

• I’m a nerdy introvert. I play lots of video games and do software projects for fun. I’m pretty quiet and generally keep to myself.
• I have meals at work during the week, but sometimes cook for myself on weekends, so I appreciate a clean kitchen.
• No smoking/vaping or illegal drugs, please.
