Spacious master bedroom with bathroom and walk-in closet for $1700/month in Redwood City

A master bedroom with spacious walk-in closet and a private bathroom is available for move-in Dec. 1, 2018. The room is over 200 square feet, has natural skylights, high ceilings and faces the fenced backyard with minimal noise.

It is in a large, single family home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, extensive dining area, along with a kitchen with built in cutting board and upgraded appliances. There is also a brand new washer and dryer in the home. We are in a corner lot with a 2 car garage and large carport.

Common areas are furnished with 50-inch widescreen TV (we netflix and watch movies), a nice dining table, and a dance pole. You only need to bring your own furniture for your master bedroom (fits a king size bed, dresser, desk, and much more). For the large space, we are grateful to be living here.

The house is located near Whipple Avenue in Redwood City in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood. A 15 minute walk to the Caltrain and downtown Redwood City, which has a vibrant restaurant scene and movie theatre. Near Whole Foods, Safeway, Trader Joe’s, all the tech shuttles, and more.

Your roommates would be young female professionals in late 20s/early 30s (including a stanford alum) who are responsible, friendly, like to keep things tidy / low key and easygoing. We have normal jobs (out of the house roughly 9 am - 7 pm or later for work + activities). We both work in the technology industry. During our free time, we are usually out, seeing friends, staying active, and doing our hobbies. When we are in the house during our down time, we are friendly and like catching up. We occasionally have friends / family over for dinner or to catch up, but we have infrequent overnight guests and give other roommates a heads up when we do so.

We are looking for:
-Young working professional who is responsible, friendly and respectful of others
-Someone who is respectful of others’ time and keep the noise level down during regular sleeping hours
-Generally clean and keeps after him or herself in the shared spaces
-Can move in Dec 1 (fairly flexible a week or so)
-Someone who doesn’t bring the party home
-Room for only one person (no live-in couples)

-Plans to stay for at least 6 months (ideally a year)
-Utilities, cable, internet, trash round out to $100-150 a month
-Submits a rental application with proof of income, employment, clean credit, etc with 1 month deposit
