The furnished master bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment in downtown Palo Alto is becoming available from July 1st 2016.

The apartment complex is located 2 blocks from University Avenue, 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars, shops, 7 minute walk to the Caltrain station, 10 minute cycle to Stanford, easy reach to the 101/280 highways. The location is ideal if you don’t have a car and still want to get to the city easily and be able to get around the Bay Area. If you have a car, there is covered, secure parking.

The apartment has been recently refurbished and comes furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, and state of the art appliances. There is a large dining/living area with comfortable sofas, dining table, and flat screen TV. There is a balcony with a grill and enough space to sit outside. The room is a very large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The apartment complex has a heated pool and common area and you will have access to a covered parking spot in the garage.

You will be living with a Stanford research associate who is a graduate of Oxford University. I am a pretty relaxed, sociable and active guy, relatively busy during the week but try to enjoy the weekends. I love playing (and watching) sports, watching the odd movie and generally chilling out.

The place is really nice to come home to after work to relax as well as being able to entertain guests for low key drinks or dinners. The neighbourhood is quiet so no heavy drinking or crazy parties – but bars are very close by! It might in particular be suitable for (but not restricted to) interns, Medical students, Law students or MBA’s with busy schedules but need a nice place to call home!

The rate will be $2550 all inclusive, initially for the summer months (until the end of September). Longer term (for the next year) may also be available.
