I am looking for someone to share a 1Bed/1Bath apartment with starting April 1st, 2016. Long-term lease preferred, but if more than 3 months, can work this out. I have very little stuff in the living room of the apartment and won't be really staying in the apartment at all since I usually stay in another place that is closer to work (I am a Sofware Engineer working at Facebook, graduated from Stanford University a year ago). So you will be using the entire apartment mostly by yourself.
The entire rent of this 1bed/1bath apartment is $2550 per month with $150 utility (everything included with business level fast WIFI), but I will be paying $1100 per month for the living room and 1/2 of the monthly utility ($75 per month), and someone living in the living room will be paying $1450 per month with $75 for monthly utility.
The apartment is very big for a 1 Bed and 1 Bath apartment and it is recently renovated/in a great condition. Also, the entire apartment is fully furnished with all kitchen supplies, equipments, bed, desk, tables, chairs, etc. It has a kitchen, dining room, 1 bathroom, and 1 master bedroom, lots of storage spaces and a living room (Where I will be having staying in very rarely). (see pictures).
You are welcome to use furnished supplies as long as you keep them clean and nice, with deposits of one month rent as a safety deposit. The parking spaces are plenty in the apartment unit, and the there is a shared washer/dryer in the apartment building.
The location has been the best part of this apartment for me (1592 Mariposa Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94306) where the neighborhood is super quiet and safe, literally right next to Palo Alto High School, very short, walkable distance to Stanford University campus, Palo Alto downtown (University ave.), Caltrain station, and many companies in the bay area.
The apartment address is: 1592 Mariposa Ave. Palo Alto, CA. (Right next to Palo Alto High School. 5 Minute walking distance to Stanford and 5 min walking distance to Townsend, and 10 min walking distance to University Ave). If you are going to be commuting to Stanford, this will be the most affordable and greatly-conditioned apartment near Stanford. This is a great location that is close to all the other tech companies in the bay area as well.
Please contact me if you are seriously interested. Contact me for pictures if you want, or you can schedule a visit as well. The housing in this area, this close to Stanford University campus and with a nice condition, is quite expensive, and this place will be the most affordable option if you don't mind having someone who rarely stays at the place leaving his stuff in the living room.
