We are looking for someone to occupy the master bedroom with a lease beginning on May 1. It's a spacious, sunny apartment located on the second floor of a 3-story apartment complex. We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in Menlo Park.

• $1495/month for master bedroom with private bathroom and two spacious closets
• ~$100 per person for all utilities (including internet)

• Close to 101 freeway, markets, and restaurants
• Easy, 20 min bike ride to Stanford
• Smoking on premises and pets not allowed by apartment management

About us: We are two friends in our early 30s who work at Stanford. We hope to occasionally have board game nights or dinner parties at the apartment.

Kathy: I'm currently a postdoc working in an ophthalmology lab. I grew up in LA but have lived in the Bay Area for 7 years, and I'm very fond of the area! I love to cook, especially baking. I'm always happy to share any food, cookware, or cookbooks I have. I also like to go hiking or biking on the weekends. Lately I've been watching a lot of Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and I think he's brilliant!

Adam: I work in a research department at Stanford while also attending grad school. I grew up in Boston and have been living in the Bay Area for 3 years. I have a pretty broad range of interests: cooking (I'd like to do more), guitar, playing and watching sports, movies/tv shows (looking forward to GoT Sundays in April), podcasts, etc. I also love to have lazy weekend coffee walks downtown and play video games when I have the time.
