My friend and I, two former Stanford education graduate students and current high school teachers, are looking for a roommate to occupy a master bedroom in our 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house. The rent will be $1400/month and all utilities (garbage, water, PG&E, internet) will be around $70-80 a month.

We live in Daly City, between Serramonte and Westlake shopping centers. The nearest BART Station is Colma Station, which is 1.5 miles away from our house. It is RECOMMENDED that you have a car for work, since public transportation is not closest to where we live. There is plenty of street parking nearby.

We prefer rooming with a working professional who is considerate and friendly. Our location works well for people working in SF, Daly City, South SF, Brisbane, Burlingame, Millbrae, San Bruno, and San Mateo. We're not stickler on being clean all the time, but we make sure to be considerate of each other. We occasionally like to watch TV together in the living room, but we also don't hang out together all the time.

We want someone who will sign a 1 year lease. An application, references, two pay stubs or employment contract will be required by my landlord. We also request a $1300 security deposit. No pets and no couples. No smoking inside the house.
