Our master bedroom is opening up to move in the beginning of next month. We are three Stanford grads. Two are ME graduates currently working in industry, the other is finishing up an EE coterm. He bikes every day to campus, so it would be a perfectly reasonable commute for you if you need to be on campus during the week!
