The Master Bedroom in our gorgeous, 8-bedroom house in Los Altos Hills will be available Oct 2. We're a friendly group of grad students and young working professionals, and we're looking for someone to join our little community. We're not party animals by any means - we enjoy cooking, exercise, movie nights, and Sunday brunches. The house is a quick drive to the Stanford campus and Mountain View, and within walking distance to downtown Los Altos.

We lovingly refer to the house as a mansion -- it includes a large kitchen with multiple appliances, multiple spacious common area rooms, large backyard, outdoor grills, fire pit, and ample parking spaces. The neighborhood is scenic and quiet, with lots of running and walking trails, and little critters hopping around.

The bedroom has a recently renovated private bathroom with separate shower and tub, multiple sinks, and granite counter tops. There is also a GIANT walk in closet with tons of storage space. A sliding glass door opens up directly into the backyard and can function as a private entrance. Couples or single tenants welcome!

The room can be furnished or unfurnished (the furniture in the photos belongs to the previous tenants, but there is additional furniture in the house that could be claimed).

Cats and dogs welcome, pending landlord and roommate approval, but everyone here is an animal lover. There's an extra deposit for pets.

The rent will be $2500 a month, and utilities come out to about $70 per month. The room is available October 2 (or the afternoon of Oct 1), and our lease ends on Aug. 31, 2016, so we're looking for people who can commit to a whole year. We will begin to invite people over to visit the house soon!
