We're four Stanford Economics PhDs looking for a fifth person to take the master bedroom in the five bedroom house we rent. The house is located in Redwood City, about a 25 minute bike (through Atherton and over the Menlo Park bridge) or equally long drive (along El Camino or Alameda de las Pulgas) from campus. The room comes with its own bathroom.

We've been living at the location for 2 1/2 years and have had great experiences with the house, the location, and the landlord. There are two grocery stores (Lucky and Safeway) within easy walking distance. While the master bedroom itself is unfurnished, the rest of the house is well set up, including a backyard patio area with grills and fire pit.

There are two caveats potentially interested parties should be aware of. The first is that access to the laundry room is through the master bedroom. This hasn't been a problem for previous tenants (the rest of us wait to do laundry until the occupant isn't around, plus it entails more storage space), and we're certainly happy to be flexible however we can be. The second issue is that three of us will be vacating the house at the end of June (graduating), so if you wanted to stay past then, you would likely need to find replacement housemates.
