Color is silver, includes 20 squares (half fine mesh - good for bottoms and shelves of cubes - half open wire like in the picture - good for sides of cubes), 21 connectors, and 2 sets of internal shelf brackets. Basically, it's enough to make a four cube set up like in this pic, only with two additional shelves within it, though you can configure it 100 different ways.

I've used this system for over 5 years and it's been great for me! Strong enough to hold books, boxes, food supplies, clothes, whatever. Can easily take it apart and move it with me, use it to make whatever furniture I need (nightstand, bathroom storage, dresser, bookshelves, etc.). Great set, but live in a furnished place now and have no need for it anymore.
