Description

I am a recent Ph.D. graduate of Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics. I'm excited to offer lessons in a variety of musical areas, for beginner to advanced students, including:

  • Piano (classical, jazz, other styles)
  • Electronic music
  • Music production and beatmaking
  • Songwriting
  • Music composition
  • Computer music programming / music tech
  • Music theory (tutoring or general study)
  • Beginner voice

I love teaching and always try to meet my students where they are at. I want to help you make the kind of music you love. I am comfortable teaching a variety of styles, ranging from classical to jazz, pop (including hip hop and beatmaking, R&B, and electronic music), or more general improvisation.

Rate: $60/hr for Stanford students | $75/hr for outside students

Location: On campus or remote (via Zoom)
