I'm a female PhD student at Stanford looking for someone who would be interested in signing a 12-month lease on a 2BR/1BA apartment (could be 2BR/2BA if one becomes available) at Woodland Park Apartments. The particular unit I have in mind is in one of the best buildings/locations offered by the complex, literally right on the border between EPA and Palo Alto, away from the freeway, and across the street from a quiet, wooded area next to >$1million+ homes. Cross streets are Woodland Ave. X Newell Rd. It is 817 square feet, large windows (almost wall-wall) in the bedrooms, and on the second floor. It has your standard kitchen and good living room space. For the price and location, I think it is a great deal. If you do not have a pet, your share of rent is $1226, and that includes water/garbage. We would still need to share PGE. The property is on rent control, so rent should not go up more than 2.5% over the next couple years.. There is one shared covered parking... (please don't have a car--lol, jk)

If you're interested, we need to act fast to hold the apartment, otherwise it WILL get scooped up!!! (I've already had a couple apartments rented from under me :( ) The deposit is only $700.. and it is $300 to hold it. The apartment is said to be ready by Mid-June.

About me: I am clean, reliable, and respectful. I study hard but lead an active/well-balanced social life and would like to be able to entertain guests for game night/wine n cheese night/dinner on occasion. I have a really goofy personality... and I have TONS of hobbies... I have a wonderful dog-like cat! He is really awesome and everyone loves him! I am pretty laid back (except when I am working), and also a very straight-forward communicator. As long as you keep the common areas clean, and are not a drunken wreck all the time, we should be fine... :P
