Need a place to stay for visiting assistant professor near Stanford

I am posting on behalf of my friend (Dr. Avinash Kumar Seth) who will arrive in the first week of October 2022. He (age 40) will be a visiting professor at the department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University.
He needs a furnished room with kitchen and toilet facilities (either private or shared). The length of his stay will be till march 2023, a total of six months. the budget is $1400 with utilities. Kindly mail me if you have any options available.
