This post is for a room in Oakland right near Lake Merritt. My old roommate is looking for someone to sublet her room, and I thought I'd post it here since its such a sweet deal. The pictures won't attach for some reason, but if you respond to this post I can send them to you along with her email. This is the description she sent:

I have a large, beautiful master bedroom with a walk in closet and a full ensuite private bathroom in a gorgeous 3bd/2ba apartment with Lake Merit panoramic views. The room is lightly furnished with a bed and bookshelf. The apartment has in unit laundry, dish washer, and a large balcony. This place is too good to be true, which is why I am subletting the spot instead of moving out completely. You will fall in love. The room is up for a 6 month sublet with possibility to renew depending on how well you fit with the vibe and if my job situation changes, allowing me to move back in.

The other roommates are two responsible, young, gorgeous, fun and kind black men who will take good care of you - one a social justice activist (30), the other a software engineer (28). They each occupy a room and share the common bathroom.

What we expect from you:
Good communication
Normal shared roommate responsibilities - taking out trash/recycling, putting away clean dishes, maintaining common areas, etc.
Ok with 420.
Ok with guests & visitors in common areas.
Copy of Paystub or tax return + Credit score

Brief description about you and your interests, and anything else a roommate should know about you

I’ll be taking appointments to view the apartment starting this weekend (10/19) through next week. Move in date is flexible, but I need to fill the space before Nov. 1st.
