The bedroom is in a huge/beautiful 5 bedroom / 3 bathroom house in a really nice and quiet neighborhood. The room is massive (~15x15) with two large closets and giant doors that open to the backyard. There is a ton of storage space both inside and outside the house. The house has amazing landscaping, fruit trees, backyard storage shed, and half basketball court. The house is not on a major street and is generally very quiet (nearest cross streets are Oregon expressway and Middlefield). The location is excellent and there is a grocery store, Starbucks, CVS and small shopping center very close by. The California Avenue Caltrain station is a 5 min bike ride away and the Stanford campus is ~10 min.

Your housemates will be four working professionals at tech companies in the area and Stanford postdoc and who generally are very relaxed, respectful, friendly, and pleasant.

There are no absurd house rules (e.g. curfew, kitchen use, overnight guests etc) that you might have noticed at other places in Palo Alto with nitpick/exploitative landlords. Start date for lease is October 1, but is flexible if you needed it sooner or later. The landlord (who is awesome, by the way) will require recent credit check. The lease would run 6 months with the option to renew in April. Rent is $1650/month with $1650 deposit and you would also be responsible for covering a portion of utilities and internet which are typically <$100.
