If you are a male visiting scholar, student or intern around Stanford and Palo Alto and you are looking for a private room where you can decently rest after your busy day don’t look any further.

$1100 a month plus $300 security deposit no extra costs. 3 months lease after that month to month rent.

All utilities (garbage, water, heating plus high speed internet and laundry included in this one fixed price.

This room has lots of natural light, a private balcony with a shared bathroom (with one other person), is fully furnished with everything you'd possibly need including bedding, towels, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, small fridge and basic dishes and utensils and cleaning supplies for you room.

New air conditioning was just installed and the room was freshly painted in January 2018.

Sorry, no kitchen access and no access to the main house.

When the weather is pleasant you can enjoy the day on your private balcony, or in the shared backyard. It's possible to plug in your laptop in the garden, or on the balcony as well.

The house is 10 min. walking distance from the Palo Alto California Caltrain station, lots of great restaurants and grocery stores, walking distance to bus station and an easy bike ride to Stanford (10-15 min.) using bike path. Parking on the street.

We are looking for someone who values their privacy and needs a peaceful atmosphere to study and concentrate.

We are a couple in our 50s and are renting two rooms upstairs. We have two dogs and one cat. When you love them they will love you back twice!

Dogs don’t have access to rented rooms.
