Sharing an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in building practical AI skills: Nitro’s AI Advantage Bootcamp is a 10-day program focused on technical implementation, responsible AI use, and strategic problem-solving. Students will learn how to use AI tools thoughtfully and effectively, work with a founder and AI builder on the technical side, and develop a functional project of their own. The program also includes strategy sessions around how students can apply what they build to real-world problems and potentially translate those skills into internships, jobs, or entrepreneurial projects. After the Bootcamp, students receive ongoing access to Nitro’s network, including curated internship opportunities, mentorship conversations, monthly Fireside Chats, and additional professional and entrepreneurial programming. The program begins Monday, August 10, and applications submitted within the next 24 hours will still be reviewed. Tuition is $1,200, with applicants automatically considered for 30% or 50% scholarships based on their applications. Looking for an authentic, holistic approach to helping your child apply to college? I am here to help with the process! I love working with young people, drawing the best out of them by encouraging them to be specific and know their passions while offering constructive criticism in a positive manner. I have worked for decades with diverse students and am familiar with a wide range of academic institutions across the country. Finding the right fit is the most important part of the college application process. I hold a BA in Anthropology from Stanford (second area of study in English) and MA in Higher Education from Columbia. My experiences include working as an ESL teacher, academic editor, essay consultant, TA consultant at UCSD, and English composition professor at Menlo College. I have been a volunteer interviewer for prospective Stanford students (and was even hired to be an admissions reader but declined due to personal circumstances.) I was also a volunteer at a teen center in Ann Arbor, MI for a fiction writing class. As I am also a fiction writer (MFA from Warren Wilson) and soprano, I believe each student has a creative narrative to share. I work remotely, and look forward to working with your child! If you don’t have a Stanford email address, please mention your connection in your response. This is to avoid bots and scams. Thanks!

I’m looking for someone in the Stanford area or nearby areas who does nails as a hobby or is a beginner/amateur nail tech. I’d love to get my nails done regularly at a more affordable price and I’m totally open to someone who is not a professional!
