Private bedroom and bathroom in 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Santa Clara (Saratoga and Steven's Creek Boulevard)

Rent is $1350/month plus utilities (~$100/month or less). Lease is until June with option to renew.

Preferable move-in date is Nov.1, no later than mid-November

There is a single covered carport that we would share, but there is also street parking available.

The apartment is a split-level with high, vaulted ceilings. There is a fireplace, complete kitchen (including dishwasher), and large balcony with an outdoor storage closet. The bedrooms are large with sizable closets, and the bathrooms are complete with tubs. Additionally, you would have the entire hallway closet connecting your bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is entirely furnished except for your bedroom/bathroom, but there may be room for small pieces of furniture to be added to the common space.

I'm a Stanford 4th year PhD student in Immunology looking for a long-term roommate. I'm fairly private when at home but would like a roommate who I could also be friends with. I enjoy indoor rock climbing, volleyball, yoga, and hiking. I usually meal prep on weekends and make minor use of the kitchen during the week.

Let me know who you are, what your general day looks like (when would you be home, and what do you do when at home), what you're looking for in an apartment and roommate, etc. I really want to get a sense an idea of who you are and won't be choosing a roommate that I don't know anything about.
