Looking for an awesome bedroom in a spacious Palo Alto house with wonderful people? You’ve come to the right place :) I have just decided to take a position at a non-profit in Nicaragua, so I will be moving out of the area soon and will need to find someone to replace me! Here are some of the details….

About the room:
-Located upstairs (feels quiet and somewhat separate from the rest of the house)
-Shares a bathroom with one other bedroom (occupied by a male)
-Furnished or unfurnished
-Big windows and ample light

About the house:
-Located in a quiet neighborhood in midtown Palo Alto
-Walking distance to Safeway and Philz Coffee on Middlefield
-Easy access to 101
-Big driveway and abundant street parking
-Washer, dryer, dishwasher, 2 big fridges, big screen TV
-Nice backyard with gas grill, fire pit, and barbecue pit
-Ample storage space in the backyard sheds and the garage

About us:
-3 guys and 3 girls (3 post-docs, 2 grad students, and 1 engineer), along with 1 very friendly service poodle
-We love running, swimming, biking, camping, watching TV/movies, barbecuing, occasionally going out to concerts and bars, and just generally spending time together
-We also like to do our own thing sometimes, which is totally okay too!

You are:

• a mature graduate student or working professional
• drama-free, easy-going, kind, and considerate
• a non-smoker
• someone who enjoys spending time with housemates, but also likes to do your own thing
• someone who appreciates a clean house, but can handle a little untidiness every now and then
• not a pet-owner

Other details:

• Rent is $1220 per month
• Utilities + Internet ranges between $50 and $75 per month
• security deposit = 1 month’s rent
• The room will be available in mid to late November (I am aiming to move out the week of November 27th, but I can be flexible if an earlier/later move-in date is desired)
