Looking for Housing and Part-time Caregiving Work? Private room and bath in Palo Alto, plus earn $225-300/week in exchange for 15-20 hours of caregiving to Teen with Autism

Are you patient and kind? Enjoy being with kids who have disabilities? We are a Palo Alto family looking for a responsible adult to work with our teenage son for approximately 15-20 hours a week and live in our home.

Pay would be $15/hour when actively supervising our son, and rent would be covered by occasional overnight or extra coverage per mutual agreement. We are hoping to find someone ready to move in soon.

Hours are flexible: Most weeks the hours will include:
Weds: 2pm to 5:30 pm
Thursday 4pm to 9 pm (includes an hour to drive to San Jose to pick Harry up from afterschool)
Friday 4pm to 6:30 pm (includes an hour to drive to San Jose to pick Harry up from afterschool)
Saturday mornings

Other hours may include coverage of an early morning (6:30am to 7:30am) or I may ask for an hour of coverage here or there in the evenings if you are available. IF YOUR SCHEDULE IS NOT A PERFECT MATCH BUT YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED, PLEASE APPLY. For the right fit, I am flexible. Sundays will generally be off.

Our son is 17 years old and loves to bike, swim, dance and listen to music. He has limited language and significant developmental delays, but likes to connect with people one on one.
