We have an updated, unfurnished, single room available in our renovated, 4-bdrm, 3-bathroom, 1-story house in Palo Alto.
The monthly rent is $1600 + bills and the room is open to lease and move-in Oct 1 (potentially available 1 week earlier).
We are looking for someone to rent until the end of the current lease to August 31, 2018.

I'm hosting an open house this Sunday, Sept 10 from 11am - 1pm. Please email me with your phone number if interested and I'll call you to share more about the house and room and logistics for organizing a tour at the open house or another scheduled time.

The Room
-The room has hard wood floors, an ensuite closet, and can fit a queen size bed with room for a nightstand and bookshelf/study desk.
The dimensions are approx ~10.5ftx12ft.
-It shares a full, modern bathroom with 1 other male housemate. Shower is a large tiled, walk-in shower.
-The bedroom itself is unfurnished.
-The house has a closet with a washer and dryer. The access to the washer and dryer closet is through this room so whoever is in the room needs to be comfortable with the other housemates coming in to do laundry at scheduled times set by the housemate living in this room.

Rent
-Rent costs $1600 and includes furnished house (except bedroom) and garage storage (for bikes and boxes).
-Additional costs include utilities ($50-90/person a month), super high-speed Internet and cable TV ($23/person a month), and splitting maid service (~$30 per a service, 1-2x month)

House
-This modern house is a spacious 2000+ sq ft and was fully renovated with hard wood floors, all new kitchen and bathrooms, new appliance including dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer
-The contemporary kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and microwave.
-There is a sizable, fully furnished living room and dining room area with an open floor plan and nice natural light. Includes a huge round dining table, couch set, coffee table and 3 bar stools
-60-inch TV with DVR basic cable
-Large LG clothes washer/dryer in the house
-Central A/C and Heater
-Tons of free street car parking in front of the house and no through-street traffic
-Garage for parking bikes and storage and small backyard area
-Clean house that stays clean with the shared maid service!
-Price includes landscaping of the house.

Location
-Amazing location in Palo Alto on Park Blvd (between Alma St and El Camino).
-Walking distance (0.7m) to main street of California Ave and the California Ave CALTRAIN stop.
-There are multiple grocery stores (Mollie Stone, Grocery Outlet, Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Safeway, Sprouts), restaurants, and shopping nearby around California Ave, El Camino and Alma st
-Location is pretty central, especially for those looking to go to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto.
-10-20min bike ride to Univ Ave and Stanford campus depending on where on campus you are going.
-Overall very bike friendly and near Palo Alto bike path.
-Easy access to tech HQs such as Palantir, Google, and Facebook.

Housemates:
The 3 housemates (1 girl, 2 guys) are all laid-back, respectful, generally busy, working professionals in their late 20s-30.
I, Paya, run the house and am the female housemate. I graduated from Harvard and work in private equity/investing in tech companies.
One male who the room shares a bathroom with is from Oklahoma originally and is a medical resident doing a 1-year research project at Stanford Medical in pediatrics.
The other male housemate completed a PHD in Physics at the University of California Irvine and works at Apple in health tech.

We are looking for another professional/grad student, non-smoking housemate who is ideally laid-back and clean in common spaces. Only looking for 1 person for the room.
Either male or female is fine.
Sorry, NO pets and NO live-in partners.
