I am looking for two new roommates to renew the lease on a 3B/1B apartment in North-Central San Mateo. It's a really nice apartment and amazingly cheap for the area, so I'm trying to hold onto it instead of moving out myself.

The two available bedrooms both measure approximately 12x10ft. One has an East-facing window and a walk-in closet. The other one has a South-facing window and a private entrance. The apartment has a spacious kitchen and living room, laundry on site, and covered parking. It's a 5-minute walk to Safeway and CVS, a 15-minute walk to Caltrain, and convenient to 101.

My ideal roommates are young professionals who like to keep the apartment a welcoming and comfortable place. I am hoping that we can be friendly with each other - chat, occasionally watch TV or eat dinner together, stuff like that.

I have a well-behaved indoor/outdoor cat, which you may choose to befriend or ignore.

Rent is $1,050 per room plus utilities ($50-$100), and a $1,000 security deposit to move in. I am hoping to sign a lease effective May 1, but you could move in sooner once the lease is signed.
