I'm subletting my room on campus over the summer, starting July 1. The end date is negotiable, but I would prefer to rent through the month of August.
The room is in a lovely, spacious two-bedroom apartment that gets lots of light and ventilation through three windows in the living room and windows in either bedroom. We have a bamboo wind chime hanging from the kitchen entrance that makes relaxing noises when tapped. The dining room table is perfect for sharing meals and chatting, and the couch in front of the large, flat screen TV is very comfy.
The apartment's located on the 2nd floor of a building in the Rains apartment complex. This is one of the rare Rains buildings to be recently refurbished, and everything is like new. The apartment is a minute's walk from Vaden, a few minutes from Green Library, and is well positioned for drop-off and visitor parking. It's also quiet and at a distance from the Rains volleyball nets and lounges where parties are held.
Stanford students in this complex are charged $1126/month to live here. I have lowered the rent to $1100 and will pay the difference.
Kindly note, I am required by Stanford housing policy to sublease to a woman, and she has to have Stanford graduate affiliation. You'll find information about eligibility here: https://rde.stanford.edu/studenthousing/sublicensing-general-sublicensee-eligibility
I will leave my bike behind, if you'd like to use it. The kitchen is stocked with dish and cooking ware. The deposit for household items and the bike is $300.
