We have a free room as one of our long term tenants is moving. We're trying to make this as quarantine compatible as possible.

The basics:
Furnished room in our house in Old Palo Alto (close to Stanford, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods).
Washer/dryer in the house, rent includes utilities and internet. Kitchen fully equipped.
Available May 1st (potentially even few days before)
Shared bathroom. $1240/month.

The good stuff:
Current tenants are from France, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, and the US. mid 20s to mid 30s. 7m/7f.
Most people with some Stanford affiliation: students, postdocs, visiting researchers, recent alumni
We do fun stuff together when it's not quarantine season: ski trips, beach trips, hiking, volleyball, etc.
Currently limited to dinners, movie nights and walks around the block (but that's more fun with 10 people as well)
