I'm posting this on behalf of my landlady. It's a great house! I've lived here for 3 years, but it will be available by early November.

Room for rent (available early November) in Midtown Palo Alto in a sunny 4BR house. The room is ~150ft², located on the 2nd floor, with a window seat and comes furnished with a full size bed, desk, chair, one lamp and plenty of closet space. It's on the shady side of the house, so will stay nice and cool in the summer. You would have your private bathroom with a huge marble/tile shower.

Rent is $1400/month, and includes use/full access to a fully furnished large living room with a piano, dining room, family room with TV, kitchen (you'll get your own dedicated space in the pantry/fridge/freezer/storage space), large outdoor deck/patio, washer, dryer etc. The house is within walking distance of a Safeway, Walgreens, CVS, Philz coffee, and Teaspoon. 3 miles from campus. Wireless/garbage is included in the rent. Tenant shares the gas/water/electric utility bill (split among the 2 tenants and landlady). The utilities are around $40 - $80, cheaper in Summer. Shorter terms may be considered, but the landlady would prefer at least a 6-month lease. Females only. All tenants in the house are women - young professionals. Landlady is very kind and easy going.
