Great location for Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Stanford, etc., 5 minute drive to Caltrain. DOG FRIENDLY!!

About the room:

Unfurnished 11x12 master bedroom, with ample closet space. Can fit a queen size bed and two large dressers with plenty of space left to walk around in.

About the apartment/complex:

The kitchen and living room are fully stocked/furnished, but may be able to accommodate some small furniture (chair, bookshelf, etc.) if you have it. High efficiency washer/dryer in unit. Heating in bedrooms, heat/ac in living room. Wall-to-wall carpeting in living/bedrooms, hardwood in kitchen. We share one covered parking spot, but there is a ton of uncovered free parking available as well right next to the apartment.

As far as the complex, I cannot say enough to describe how awesome it is! Everyone is incredibly friendly and willing to strike up a conversation. Most people have been living here for several years due to the low price for the quality of these apartments, as well as how well the management treats us. Any maintenance request is usually taken care of within 24 hours. The courtyard has two huge lawns where dogs are allowed off-leash, a bocce ball court, a fire pit and two new grills that can be used by anyone at anytime. The complex is one of the most dog-friendly living situations I have ever experienced, allowing any size and most breeds of dogs. This is of course true for the apartment too, provided your dog gets Lilah’s approval first.

About Me:

I’m a 23 y/o female working as a research assistant in an autism lab at Stanford. Outside of work, it’s a coin toss between finding me on a hike or jog, and lying on the couch in the midst of a 5-hour Netflix binge. I love live music and go to concerts whenever I get the chance, and can never say no to happy hour after work or a round of beers by the fire pit. I have a 1 y/o Australian Shepherd mix puppy/best friend named Lilah that I gladly spent most of my time with. She is very sweet and mellow, but is deeply feared by the squirrel population of the Greater Bay Area. I have no problem with you having friends or overnight guests over, provided everyone is respectful of each other and the apartment, and I expect the same courtesy in return. Basically I like to work hard, play hard, and as long as you are a good person we will get along just fine.

The Fine Print:

Rent is $1395/month with a 1-year lease. If you have a dog, the complex charges a deposit and $50 pet rent/month. Utilities are garbage, electricity, cable and Internet and usually amount to $100-$130/person/month. TV and Internet are already set up and like I said, Netflix is both provided and encouraged.
