Room is available Jan 15, and you'll be taking over one roomate's position on the lease that goes through July 2017. Earlier availability is possible, but you'll be moving in as the previous roomate is moving out.

Looking to rent out a single bedroom in a fun Menlo Park house. Current household is a female PhD student at Stanford, a male post-grad and an awesome border collie mix dog and a friendly, soft, good natured cat who loves to cuddle. Mega bonus points if you're a dog person, or even just have experience living with a dog.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is fun and friendly and wants to socialize (bonus points if you like to play soccer!). We don't really have any rules or chores -- basically you clean up after yourself and respect other people and their belongings. Not so hard. :-)

The house has an amazing front yard with fruit trees (apricot, pomegranate, fig, peach) and rose bushes, fenced in backyard with a patio and storage sheds, and inside has an expansive kitchen with gas stoves, new dishwasher and refrigerator, a high-efficiency washer & dryer and a large living room with lots of natural light. There's one bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink, and a half bath with just a toilet and sink.

We split the rent on the house three ways so your share would be $1133/mo. Other bills include water/garbage/PGE/internat and a bi-weekly cleaning service.

There is a security deposit of $1050 due at sublease signing.
