We are seeking a flatmate to rent a spacious unfurnished bedroom (bed, full size mattress, and desk available for low price) in a 3-BR apartment in Downtown Palo Alto, available May 1st. You would share the bathroom with 1 female (a Stanford postdoc). The other roommate is a male, late 20s, works in tech.

Common areas are spacious - living, dining, and kitchen. We also have a sunny balcony. Rent is $1438 + utils (internet; power; heating during winter) approx $40 and around double during winter, depending on heater use

There is a coin-op laundry on site, just below the unit. Parking is included in the price of rent - one space in the carport, which is a covered spot but open.

The most important qualities we seek in a housemate:

1. cleans up after themselves
2. friendly
3. pays rent on time

Move-in costs:

-One month rent deposit returned upon move-out (this holds your room before you move in)
-$1438 for first month rent (and payable on 1st of the month thereafter)
