A room is opening up in the gorgeous 3 br house I rent in Kensington, just north of Berkeley. It is absurd that I can live in this gorgeous house on a grad stipend. I'm near running trails and redwoods and UC campus. It's been the perfect place to write my dissertation and teach remotely. My housemates Sasha and Rose have changed my life for the better in so many ways. The atmosphere is magical.

The room opens July 1 for a 15-month sublease with the possibility of joining the lease after (my housemate Rose is moving out for the coming academic year). $1305/month including utilities. Furnished if you want it! Femmes, POC, queer folk are rad. We have lots of stairs and are not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. Our house is actively engaged in promoting social justice in our suburban neighborhood.

I am a fourth year PhD in Theater and Performance Studies. I am a playwright, director and educator who enjoys birding, reading, community organizing, and playing rummy with my housemates.
S is in her mid 20’s and works for a non-profit in the East Bay. On the weekend, she likes to hike, do yoga, go to concerts, be outside, and be with friends.
