We are looking for a few awesome people to help fill the rooms in an amazing house starting 9/1. We are mostly Stanford graduate students and a couple of young professionals in our 20's. We are all very clean, respectful, busy and independent but occasionally host parties and hang out when we can. There are currently 4 rooms available, one with space for a couple and the other 3 are single rooms.

The house has 8 bedrooms, 6 baths, 2 living rooms, an ample kitchen and laundry as well as plenty of parking. The common areas are furnished and some of the bedrooms have beds and other furniture that can stay if that is of interest otherwise the bedrooms are unfurnished. It is a short 20-min bike from Stanford and is located in a peaceful picturesque neighborhood directly adjacent to Esther Clark Park. Some perks include fireplace, pool table, table tennis, trampoline, baby grand piano, jungle gym/swing set, grill, tons of storage space including garage area, space for gardening, and you can hear horses neighing next door! The rent is around $1000/month not including utilities (~$100/month), but this will vary depending on how things play out. There is one large room with private bath and walk-in closet that is perfect for a couple which we would rent for $1500 however if the room goes to an individual we will charge less ($1200). Whatever is left of the rent will be split evenly among the other 7 housemates (so ~$930/month if a couple moves in or ~$970/month otherwise).

We need to have first month's rent paid as a deposit by 5/1 to hold the house so you would need to have one of the abovementioned amounts available by then. The lease is for one year but that is somewhat flexible for individuals.
