Hi there! We are a small group of Stanford students and young professionals ranging from 21-26 looking for a few new housemates to come live with us starting mid-september. We love the house and living with friends and we hope you will too. We play games, have family dinners every other week, like to bring friends over, and generally be pretty social. We have a pool, a jacuzzi (with newly installed machinery), fruit trees (so. many. lemons. trust me), a BBQ and fire pit, six bedrooms, four bathrooms (private bath available), a gardener and pool service covered by our landlord, two living rooms, washer, dryer, garage, and an open kitchen with two refrigerators. We’re a short 8 minute bike ride away from Stanford, just off Sand Hill Road in a beautiful neighborhood great for walks, jogs, or bike rides (no hills, gasps). Cars are an option but we have limited designated parking spots, pet’s are OK (with approval, please no “emotional support rhinoceroses”) and we can offer rooms furnished or unfurnished (or partially furnished).
We are looking for nine month leases ideally starting September 15th, but let us know your situation and we’ll see if we can work something out.
We have three rooms available, ranging from 1280-1550/mo + utils (about $100 per month), and a master bedroom with a private bathroom (which is literally the size of a 1bd apartment) for 1800/mo+utils which could also be open to couples. We split utilities evenly with everybody. We also share costs for a lot of incidentals like paper towels and soap so that makes life easier too.
We will be having a few open houses in the upcoming week or two (first come first serve) so if you are interested please email us at alin719@gmail.com with a little blurb about yourself and we’ll send you the dates, times and the address.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
Future house homies.
