Hi everyone!

I am looking for someone to sublet our spare bedroom (furnished, never used though) in our 2 bedroom Cole Valley apartment from during the month of March. I share this apartment with my girlfriend, but I am going on a business trip to Africa for the all of March. It is possible that the sublet could extend into April, so there is some flexibility for you.

Dates:

1 Month Sublet: March 1- March 28 (with possible extension into April)

Rent is $650 plus utilities (which is usually less than $50)

Apartment:

-top floor of a beautiful 4-story Victorian building

-private entrance to our unit; the only other people in the house are a 3-person family

-shared backyard with goldfish pond

-sun porch with plants and views of Golden Gate Bridge and Sutro Tower/Twin Peaks

-warm during the winter, and good heating system; carpet throughout

-huge bathroom with two mirrored counters

-full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, gas stove/oven

-large storage space (good for things like big suitcases and boxes etc)

-one adorable 5 month old kitten who loves to be pet and is very nice

Room:

-furnished with bed, desk and chair, bookshelves, closet

-tons of light, especially in the mornings

-window that opens onto fire escape with great view of Sutro Tower/Twin Peaks

-size is 9'x11' with 5'x4' alcove

Roommate (my girlfriend):

-one 23 year old female Stanford graduate student

-very relaxed, smart, laid back, respectful, and nice

-busy with school but likes to read, cook, and explore our neighborhood and city

Who we are looking for:

-a female tenant, ideally recent graduate or current student/graduate student, who is:

-easy going and easy to live with

-expresses and expects mutual respect with rooommate

-considerate of others

Neighborhood:

-sits in the middle of Cole Valley at Carl and Shrader Street

-two blocks away from Golden Gate Park

-awesome and affordable cafes, restaurants, sushi, brunch places, grocery stores within 1-2 blocks

-one block away from great bars Finnegans Wake and Bar Kezar

-4 blocks away from historic Haight Ashbury

Transportation:

-incredible access to public transportation:

-half block away from N-Judah muni line (getting downtown takes 10 minutes, beach is 15 minutes away)

-one block away from 6 Parnassus, 37-Corbett, 43-Masonic muni lines (to Castro, Marina, Sunset)

-four blocks away from Haight street buses 33-Stanyan, 7 and 71-Haight (to downtown, Mission, Richmond)
