Hi! We’re looking for a third roommate to split a 3 bedroom house. Before we find a house, we want to find our 3rd roommate first as it will allow us to sign a lease quicker when we find something.
A little about us:
We are two females who both recently got jobs at Stanford. We are looking to find a third roommate first so we can all look for a house together close to campus with a yard for my dog. I have a 30 pound dog who loves people and so you’d have to be okay with having a dog around the house. She’s potty trained and a frisbee pro!
We don’t have a set move in date but we’re hoping to move in July. We’d like to stay within 10-15 minutes of campus if possible. There seems to be enough houses on trulia/zillow/craigslist for rent that accept dogs so this shouldn’t be an issue!
Allison: Works at Stanford, 32, originally from Silicon Valley. Majored in math in college and studied STEM education in grad school. Also does background extra work in film, television and commercials.
Amy: Also works at Stanford, 26, originally from Marin County. I majored in French and Int’l Affairs and love to travel. In my free time I like exploring the outdoors, exercising my dog, or grabbing drinks with friends.
We’re both neat, quiet and respectful. We would be looking for someone who is as well and will share the house chores with us.
Neither of us smoke and we wouldn’t be throwing any parties. Friends over for dinner/drinks is fine of course!
Occasional overnight guests are okay as long as it’s not often.
What we’re looking for in terms of a house:
Budget: We’re hoping to pay between 1200 to 1400 per person per month.
Preferred areas: anywhere close to campus e.g. Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mtn View, Sunnyvale
We look forward to hearing about you! Please tell us a little about yourself/send us a link to your social media, thanks!
