Position: Senior Operations Associate (Director Level)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Innovation / Operations Associate at Ajax, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, contributing to all aspects of deal execution and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Management (70%):

• Product Vision and Roadmaps: Lead strategy development and execution plans for medical device projects, aligning with business goals and customer needs.

• Project Management: Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring successful execution of product development while adhering to regulatory requirements.

• Product-Market Fit: Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback, conduct market research, and translate insights into product requirements.

• Budgetary Oversight: Develop and execute project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and prioritize innovation while maintaining compliance.

• Quality and Compliance: Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance on product strategy and market conditions.

• Network Expansion: Develop contract development, contract manufacturing, regulatory, quality network to ensure scale for growth at Ajax.

Venture Strategy & Development (30%):

• Deal Flow Management: Support the creation of a robust deal flow pipeline, identify investment opportunities, and nurture industry relationships.

• Market Analysis: Conduct market research, share insights with leadership, and advise on adapting to market trends.

• Investment Due Diligence: Assist in investment strategy, conduct due diligence, and contribute to investment memos.

• Strategic Partnerships: Recommend and develop strategic partnerships to facilitate product development and market entry.

• Value Creation: Provide mentorship to startups, track portfolio company progress, and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in MedTech consulting, operations, or related roles.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to support corporate initiatives (~20%).
