I'm currently in grad school and am looking for someone to sublet my room from about Dec. 1 (or pro-rated) to June 15 next year (the end date is flexible and could go to a permanent situation if all works out). The apartment is a charming 2bed/1bath Victorian in the heart of Noe Valley located just a couple of blocks from the 24th St. shops, restaurants and Whole Foods. It has hardwood floors, high ceilings, lots of natural light and a wonderful big backyard. There is also a nice deck off the kitchen which opens out onto the garden. In terms of transportation, the apartment is around the corner from the J-line and about a 7 minute walk to the Mission 24th St. BART station. The Google and Apple shuttle buses stop very closeby. Ample street parking, too. There is a coin-operated washer/dryer in the garage as well as ample storage space.
The room itself is large (not sure of the dimensions but it could easily fit a queen-sized bed, a couch, office desk). It faces the backyard and gets plenty of sunlight with two large windows from which you can see the flowering plum tree and even hummingbirds. A very peaceful and quiet room. I'm attaching some photos of the apartment, but most of the furniture and decorations are going to be moved out, so it would be ideal if you have a furniture or a decorating streak!
About your roommate:
She's been my friend since highschool and is awesome! She writes "early 30's, respectful, clean but not anal, friendy and easygoing. I have a pretty active social life which keeps me out and about. I am looking for a female roommate who is clean, quiet, considerate, non-smoking and no drugs. While I like having the occassional holiday party, get-togther, or BBQ in the backyard, I am looking for someone who will not bring a revolving door of girlfriends/boyfriends or the party into the home."
We'll be showing the apartment by arrangement.
