1 - Furnished bedroom: You won't need to bring any furniture

2 - No sharing of bedrooms: one person per room.

3 - Neighborhood: Safe, quiet, and idyllic. Peet's coffee is 10-min walk away; Walmart is 2-min drive away; Safeway is 2-min drive away; Starbucks is 7-min walk away; Stanford campus is 10-min drive away.

4 - The room: Clean, tidy, minimalist and has a large mattress, a chair, and a desk. You won't need to bring your own mattress or sheets. You will have access to two bathrooms.

5 - Rules: Amongst other things, this is a very very quiet house. Sadly, strictly ideal for nerds, unfortunately. If you cannot cope with this, or if you have a problem with solitude / focus, or if you need a party house, this is not for you.

6 - Atmosphere: House with many rooms. Occupied by young professionals, researchers, interns, and exchange students at Stanford, in the fields of science and technology. Almost silent-house. The owner lives there too. Everyone is independent and minds his/her/their own business. No cooking. No partying. Please, don't apply if you have a need to be dependent on others.

7 - Kitchen: Yes, you have kitchen privileges and fridge space. But no cooking / baking.

8 - $1670 rent + $115 utilities

9 - Deposit required before move-in: $1670

10 - We do not heat our house, cannot have smokers, and would prefer if you're respectful, thoughtful, and orderly.
