A private furnished and simple bedroom in a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house in Palo Alto. The bedroom comes complete with the essentials of a large mattress, great blanket covers, a pillow, a desk, a large in-built double wardrobe, and a swivel chair. You provide your own toiletries and may also elect to use your own blanket covering and other bedding, should you choose not to use those provided. Laundry facilities are all in-house.

The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and completely residential, with Peet's Coffee shop, WalMart, Starbucks, Costco, and Safeway all within a mile's radius from the house. In addition, Caltrain is a 10-minute walk, Google HQ in Mountain View is a 2-minute drive, and Stanford University campus is a 7-8 minute drive.

Move-in date: Jan 21, 2017 ($1495 + separate $95 for all utilities). Deposit required; same amount as rent.

We're research professionals, interns, and exchange students at Stanford, in the fields of science and technology. The owner of the house lives here and is also in a similar filed. So if you are a tech lover, tech intern, or especially if you're an entrepreneur yourself or always wanted to get the startup experience, you fit right in. We also have a friendly cat and a gentle dog.

We do not heat our house, cannot have smokers or any drug users, and would prefer if you're respectful and orderly.
