$1,000
Hi all!
I travel about 50-70% of the time for work (I work at Facebook but also am finishing my PhD at Stanford), and have an amazing rescue dog, Maggie (quiet, easy, and medium energy hound mix who just wants to be loved upon and nothing else). I’ve had a roommate since January who takes care of her while I’m away, yet she recently told me that she is leaving the apartment. I travel so much that even finding another roommate is going to be tough as I already have trips planned through July. I live in a beautiful 2 bedroom in temescal, Oakland, about a ten min walk from the MacArthur BART/shuttle. I love the apartment and would love to have another roommate who can take care of Maggie while I travel (typically one 14 day trip per month but need to confess at times could be more). Although the apartment is $3500 I only am charging $1000 + utilities because of the additional responsibilities of taking care of Maggie. She is a super easy dog who also has a dog walker during the day for when you’re at work/school The move-in date would be some time between May 10-20, but I am willing to possibly consider alternatives to that.
** I don't have exact dates for move-out yet. But I will consider at minimum renting through August (so maybe an intern?). At most the room will be yours through the end of December.
** Additional photos available upon request although I can have more detailed photos on Thursday when my husband arrives to the apartment. He is a nursing student in DC so will occasionally be at the apartment, though not often.
Thanks,
Dana
