This posting is for one of two rooms are available in a spacious, well light menlo park duplex, starting June 1st for a one year lease.

One upstairs bedroom is very large, and includes an inclosed porch, lots of closet space, and lots of natural light.

The other upstairs bedroom is slightly smaller and lacks the balcony, but is still very spatious, big window, and lots of closet space.

You would share the bathroom. Rent is ~1250 for the balconied room, ~1150, internet is ~$10 / mos, utilities are ~$20 each / mos. I have been living in this apartment for 2 years, and my roommates are graduating stanford etc., so I'm looking to re-fill the apartment.

There is one other room in the apartment, a larger downstairs bedroom, a large common area (wood floors, etc.), and a kitchen. Their is also a patio space where I have started a vegetable garden, and a large side yard / patio, where we have a grill, perfect for outdoor summer gatherings.

I am a stanford PhD student (me), work a lot, but am friendly when I'm around, and would love to have occasional group dinners, etc.

The apartment is an easy bike ride to stanford and cal train (and a ~20 minute walk -- I do it daily), and just a few blocks away from safeway, peets etc. It's also easy walking distance from downtown menlo park.
