Stanford PhD candidate looking for SF apartment/share house

Hi! My name is Alex and I am looking for an SF apartment or a shared house (one other housemate) in the Haight, Mission/dolores, Cole valley, Potrero Hill, Lower Haight, Nopa, or Duboce triangle, likely in the $1500-2250 range (with some flexibility)...

A little about me... I am 38, a PhD candidate in Stanford's Doerr School of Sustainability (my research focuses on climate change!), and originally from Colorado (although moved to the Bay from a short stint in Brooklyn). I am coming back to a PhD as a late student and have been working in the climate change space for 10+ years, including with FEMA, Government of DC, various Tribes, states, cities, and counties. I will likely commute to Stanford 1-2 days a week, but will work from home the rest. I am quiet, clean, and considerate - no pets, no kids, non-smoker, reliable with rent, and have great credit. Outside of work, I like to read, hang at the park, play hockey, bike tour, hike, catch live music, play music, and unwind with friends over a beer. I'm an introvert and generally keep to myself, but enjoy having a small group of friends over once in a while, and going out once in a while. I am also open to a friendly housemate situation and while hope we live individual lives, also enjoy some shared time getting to know people!
