I'm a Stanford postdoc looking for a like-minded roommate (e.g. Stanford postdoc, staff) to find a 2-bed 2-bath apartment together. I'm planning to move at the end of May.

Areas that I would consider: Menlo Park, Redwood City, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Cupertino, West San Jose, Saratoga (for the last 3 options it would be helpful if we find a place close to major highways e.g. 85, 280).

Me:

• Male, late 20s, easy-going, down to earth, clean, quiet, and respectful
• I do not drink or smoke, and always happy to help out with chores at home
• Enjoy good food (don’t worry, I don't cook very often), watching movies, exercising etc.
• I work long hours during the week, and keep myself busy over the weekend (work or other activities)
• I’m okay with friends over and occasional overnight guests, as long as everyone is respectful and understanding

You:

• Male, understanding, honest, respectful, and clean
• Please be communicative, otherwise we couldn't be good roommates
• No crazy party, no drugs, no smoking or excessive drinking; I respect your space and hope you would do the same
• And obviously, please be willing to sign a lease.

Price-wise I would consider up to $1200 each (depending on location and condition of the place) + utilities. But with the right person I’m willing to up my limit :)
