An apartment is available on Stanford Campus for the Summer quarter, from June 21st till mid-September.
It's a stand-alone studio apartment, about 26 x 21 feet, designed in the typical Bay-area Eichler style from the early 50's, with vaulted ceilings, large glass panes and lots of natural light. It is located on extensive, safe, and private grounds just under Stanford's nature-reserve ("The Dish"). The house is a short way away from the university's main quad (5 minutes by bike, 15-20 by leisurely stroll), and has off-street parking.
The apartment has a large living space, a bathroom and tub, a small but fully equipped kitchen, and large built-in closets. The place can be fully furnished and ready to move into (including kitchen ware, new towels and beddings, etc.), but a lot of the stuff can be boxed and put away in the garage, if it's not wanted. There are a washer and a dryer in the garage. The studio apartment is adjacent to the main house, but separate and very private. It is suitable for a single person or a couple.
