I bought these bed lifts last year from Bed Bath & Beyond, and they worked great for creating more space in my dorm room. They fit on pretty much any standard bed frame, and they're high enough so that you can slide a dresser or a bookshelf underneath it without having to loft your bed to the fullest height.
