I'm selling three servers!
I have a 1U IBM System x3250 2.93GHz, product ID 4365-1BU (Model AC1) with 5GB RAM.
Additionally I have two mostly-identical 3U storage servers that can each house 12 SATA drives. One of them has 4GB RAM and the other 8GB RAM. There are redundant power supplies in those servers. Also, a RocketRAID 2320LF controller card is included (in the 8GB system, this card along with the builtin SATA ports is enough to interface the 12 drives). There are some built-in mini controller cards in order to interface with the drives but on the 4GB system I believe one more card is still needed to interface with the 12 drives. All servers have performed exceptionally well as I kept them online continuously for months at a time without an issue.
Additionally, all systems have been formally tested recently (at my expense) at a well-respected computer service center and in the rare event that a part is not working well on arrival they are available to help out, as am I.
I'm no longer actively using server setups like that and I'd like to provide the servers to the Stanford community for an interested buyer. The large servers work well for a backup system or file server; fully loaded with your drives it can archive 48TB of data! It would be preferred if you would like all three servers (in which case I'm open to a discount, and in addition I can include a reliable netbook for free as a bonus) as that saves me time, but if not then you can purchase each separately. I can deliver them within the Stanford campus.
I'm asking $300 for the IBM x3250, $400 for the 4GB 3U system, and $500 for the 8GB 3U system with the controller card.
