Description:
Thanks for considering my place! This winter I am going abroad to do some field work with my research group. I really love my apartment and would like to be able to move back in when I get back in the Spring.
I live on the 3rd floor of Studio 4. The building is very modern and well maintained. There is parking right outside the building and access to Stanford Ave and El Camino is very quick and easy (a lot of places on campus you have to drive around for 5 minutes just to get off campus, not the case here!) The place is furnished and I am happy to let you use most of my stuff (e.g., a full kitchen, extra book shelf, television). We can talk about what you would like to have made available and what you would prefer I take out. I think I could find storage for some of my stuff, but am hoping not to have to move everything out! The apartment has a unique and, I think, wonderful set up. The kitchen is stocked and I am fine with letting you use the dishes and such, but would ask that if you break something you tell me and pay to replace it. The bathroom is huge... almost too big, but I have come to appreciate it. I also have a bicycle which I would be happy to let you use for the time you are subletting (This is a huge bonus! Finding a bike at a reasonable price is a challenge at Stanford, but having a bike to get around campus is really important... sublet from me and you have one less logistical detail to work out!). The place is also within walking distance to California Avenue which has a ton of really cute shops as well as 2+ grocery stores and hosts a Farmer's market every Sunday. Please contact me if you are interested. If you are in the area, it would be great to meet you and I'm happy to show you the place in person. I really think this is a great opportunity for someone who needs short term housing for the winter and am looking forward to finding the right person to take care of my space. Hopefully we can find a good match. Last thing, you must be a affiliated with Stanford in some way to be able to sublet from me. The apartment is in campus housing and it is their policy... while I would like to have more flexibility I feel most comfortable working within their system. Thanks for understanding and I look forward to hearing from you! You can email me at chmo@stanford.edu or call 213-446-6929. Cheers! Cecilia
