WTB or Rent: Bike / E-Bike / E-Scooter (visiting student, now–Aug 20)

I'm living in Palo Alto for the summer (now through Aug 20) and commuting to Stanford campus for a program. I'm looking for a reliable set of wheels — either to buy or rent short-term:

• Used bike — any solid commuter / hybrid / road bike (~$100–250 depending on condition)
• E-bike — open to paying more for one in good working shape
• Electric scooter — also happy to consider

Rental option: if you'd rather keep it (e.g., you're away just for the summer), I'm glad to pay a fair weekly or monthly rate and return it in the same condition before Aug 20. If I buy, I'm also open to a buy-back deal — sell it to me now and I'll sell it back to you in mid-August at a discount.

Bonus points if a lock and/or helmet comes with it!

I can pick up anywhere in the Palo Alto / Stanford area and pay with cash, Venmo, or Zelle. If you're graduating or heading out for the summer and want your bike to have a good (temporary) home, I'm your person. 🚲
