Our roommate is sadly returning to France later this month so were looking for someone to replace her in our awesome house! The large master bedroom is $1900 per month, which includes a walk in closet and full private bath with double sinks and a shower/bathtub. The room is available starting 8/26 - we can be flexible with the move-in date listed but our landlord requires that you commit to a full-year lease that ends on 7/31/2016.
About the house:
The house is a 5 bedroom / 3.5 bathroom house right in downtown Palo Alto. We are located two blocks from University Avenue, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, a 12 minute walk to the Palo Alto Caltrain station and a 5 minute drive to Hwy 101. The house is big, cozy and absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen has modern appliances with a large island, great for cooking and hosting dinners. There is a large living/dining room that is fully furnished with three sofas, a piano, and a flat screen TV. Washer and dryer on site with garage storage (aka, the bike shop). Nice deck + backyard with a grill, small garden, and fruit trees. The house has a shared driveway, but there is also ample resident street parking available.
About the roommates:
We are a mix of Stanford graduate school researchers & alumni professionals working in technology. We’re active, social, and enjoy outdoor activities: backpacking, running, cycling, surfing. Occasionally we host dinners and events in our large living room and backyard. The house is a relaxing, friendly environment to come home to and we’re looking for like-minded people who want to make this a great place to live. We’re respectful of each other’s schedules and space, and coordinate house events and guests.
About you:
Easy-going, clean, responsible with rent and willing to contribute to light shared house duties (trash pickup, coordinating utilities, making bad jokes). Open to male or female roommates; ideal for graduates/post-docs or professionals mid-twenties to early thirties.
