TNT Traysikel is a multimodal artwork that began as a mobile sculpture and has evolved into a cultural marker, a site for gathering stories, and a catalyst for collective engagement through singing. Moving between sculptural, spatial, relational, performative, and cinematic forms, the project blurs the boundaries between artistic disciplines and traditional practices. TNT Traysikel has been activated in a range of contexts, including the Asian Art Museum, SFMOMA, SF Arts Commission Gallery, APICC, SOMArts, Saint Joseph’s Arts Society, the Exploratorium, ICA SF, the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans, the Rizal Center in Chicago, SOMA Pilipinas, and, just as importantly, a number of random sidewalks.

Michael Arcega is an educator and visual artist working primarily in sculpture and installation. His research-based practice draws on history, geography, and language to examine cultural and political narratives shaped by imbalances of power. He holds degrees from the San Francisco Art Institute and Stanford University, and his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. He has received support and awards from Artadia, the San Francisco Arts Commission, and the Guggenheim Foundation, among others. He lives and works in San Francisco, where he is a Professor of Art at San Francisco State University.

Paolo Asuncion grew up in Manila as the son of an actor and was immersed in the film industry from an early age. He began his career working on corporate films before moving into independent documentaries. A motorcyclist himself, Asuncion uses motorcycle culture as a lens through which to explore subjects including religion, craft, family legacy, death, and sex trafficking. His films have received awards nationally and internationally. He lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Rachel Lastimosa is an interdisciplinary artist, producer, and cultural worker spanning the realms of music, theater, film and public space. She has composed for theater and film and toured nationally and internationally. In the Bay Area, she has worked as a community organizer, arts administrator, and artist, supporting public art programming and performance. She founded AGASAN, a collective space for expression and cultural attunement. Rachel has received degrees for Electronic Music at SFSU and Counseling Psychology as an Expressive Arts Therapist at CIIS. Her ongoing focus on the intersections of art, culture, equity, and wellness forms the foundation of her creative practice and community service.
