SESSION DESCRIPTION
Identifying bias and dismantling unjust structures – policies, practices, beliefs, and environments – are critical first steps towards equity. But once these structures are identified, critiqued, and demolished, what do we do with the rubble? Dr. Kakara Anderson will share how justice can be pursued in pediatric medical education by highlighting insights from her quantitative, qualitative, and design-based research into justice-oriented assessment, inviting discussion on how justice can be lived and pursued at the level of the individual and the collective.
