31st CECL Alumni Hall of Fame Inductee Celebration

Join El Centro Chicano y Latino as we honor and celebrate this year's inductee Dr. Chris Gonzalez Clark. Dr. Chris González Clarke, B.A. ’85, M.A. ’06, M.A. ’10, Ph.D. ’13, is Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education & Faculty Engagement at Stanford University, where he has dedicated decades to supporting graduate students, faculty, and underrepresented communities. His long-standing career at Stanford began with the Chicano Fellows Program and later included serving as associate director of El Centro Chicano y Latino beginning in 1993. He also spent six years as a resident fellow at Casa Zapata alongside his wife, Gina, where he helped foster community and belonging among students. Dr. González Clarke played a significant role in expanding Stanford’s EDGE Doctoral Fellowship Program into the University’s largest graduate fellowship program and now leads efforts supporting first-year Ph.D. students, faculty advising, and graduate recruitment.
